Redesigning Aid Traineeship Programme
Equity- Based EiE Consulting
We recognise that there a huge barriers for people with lived experiences of humanitarian crises to gain access to consultancy opportunities, speaking panels, and to publish their research.
As an organisation, we cannot highlight inequities without also thinking about how we can contribute towards shifting power in aid.

Research Associate Traineeship 2023
In 2022 Equity Based EIE Consulting launched the Research Associates Apprenticeship programme.
Our vision is for research associates to use the skills, learning and exposure to continue to gain meaningful employment and engagement in redesigning and delivering aid. We are building the team of research associates , aiming to bring on board five apprentices by the end of 2023
Over the course of the apprenticeship, research associates will learn our signature approaches to co-designing programmes and socially - orientated research and methods. We will also learn from them as well, as research associates bring incredible skills, insights, experience and knowledge to how aid needs to be redesigned.
A proportion of our revenue from our paid courses will go towards our research associates higher education tuition fees, as well as renumeration for their participation in course delivery, alongside possibilities for them to collaborate on other consultancy and strategic work.
