Work History

Research and Learning Education in Emergencies Advisor

Responsible for leading the development of Save the Children Global EIE Research and Learning Strategy, coordinating with multiple stakeholders including external partners to ensure consistency, alignment to group strategy and best practice sharing. Designed and supported evaluation research in Uganda, South Sudan and Bosnia focusing on gender and inclusion in education. Facilitated and provided technical advice for designing mixed methods participatory action research and evaluations to 20 country offices. Seconded to Head of team position responsible for leading a team of EIE specialists, budget management, co- chairing a movement-wide working group, representing the organization in academic conferences, webinars and external and internal forums

Lecturer, University of East London

Associate lecturer and curriculum lead on the EU-funded award-winning Higher education access course for refugees and asylum seekers, adapting to online teaching and learning methods in 2020. Research and evaluation lead on GCRF-funded Digital Storytelling participatory research project.

Global EiE Advisor , War Child UK

Responsible for EiE programming in War Child UK, developing the organization’s first Education strategy, resource mobilization and matrix management across six country offices. With 40 % global travel, I designed education programmes, conducted inclusive education assessments and evaluations and trained staff on Life Skills Education and youth programming in Afghanistan, Colombia, DRC, Iraq and Central African Republic.
